‘HYDRÅ’ swirled around 2022 - 2023 in a multiverse of awakenings, synchronicities and strange cosmic events. The last 7 years felt like a hazy dream of both dark unending fog and unimaginable iridescent light; the dual forces of which collided together as HYDRÅ came to be. I had the pleasure of collaborating with visual / music artist 1011 Theory on the artwork, who went above and beyond to construct her piece by piece in a way that exceeded all visions. HYDRÅ was initially released as a 4 part NFT with NiftyMusic which included the original, an acoustic version (feat. Dad), an ambient interpretation and a remix by Simmerdown.

A VISUAL RENDITION

The way 1011 Theory brought the HYDRA to life moved me so much, I had to create a hand drawn interpretation. The entire project, from the creation of the music to the NFT release brought many, many challenges, as well as cherished new connections and valued lessons along the way. Putting pen to paper was a deeply healing way for me to close the whole process and return to the essence.
